Parker's Crossroads Hard to believe it's been a wee already! We had a good time, and pretty good turn out!
We had:
Saturday was a great day! It was warm and sunny! It was just great to be outside in wool!! The park must have dropped the ball on advertising, I can't believe that so few people come out on such a lovely day! I think the big hit was the kid's drill! I think we now know how it feels to shown up by a 9 year-old! I think one of them will become the perfect soldier. Every-time I said do you want to stop now? All the kids except one would say, "Don't stop, drill more!" Well, the perfect soldier kid would whine and say stop! stop! I would like to thank the guys. As people were coming through in little groups. The schedule got thrown out rather quickly! We did not see putting on a demo if no one was there to watch. Then, here would come a car load, we cooter-up and go! That was good practice for surprise attacks!! Then early Sunday the rain came. It was NOT a downpour, thankfully! We figured it was bug-out time.
Thanks again!! Chuck Edited by admin 4/2/10 |
